What makes us different?
Dr. John had specialized training to work with children participating in an intense Pediatric Dental Residency program for 2 years, she focuses on making sure children have the most comfortable visit possible at the Dentist. Dr. John has been a dentist since 2006 and decided in 2014 her calling was to work with children and she wanted to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry.
We are so pleased to have her here to assist with the community dental care we provide. Her home and family are in Collin County and this area of Texas is her favorite, when not taking care of patients she enjoys baking cakes, playing with her toddler and learning hip hop dancing.
Dr. John understands the dental needs for your child and is here to help create the best possible Dental Home so they have a foundation for a lifelong love of Dental Health. Children that have a dental home are more likely to receive appropriate preventive and routine oral care.
We have made a few changes to our location to make sure our state of the art office is designed with a calming and relaxed style. Our castle theme environment includes a quiet lobby play area with video games, an interactive gaming center and a stuffed animal coral. Our pediatric treatment areas are dual private dental suites which offer accommodations for sedation, surgical or special quite need considerations. We also have suites for professional dental cleanings and examinations with TV’s at each chair.
The Children’s Dentist of Allen is currently accepting new patients and scheduling office tours.
How soon should we visit?
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), recommends that you find your child’s dental “home” by age 1.
But, it’s never too late to start monitoring the development, growth, and oral health of your child to help them avoid future dental problems!
Pediatric dentists undergo several years of additional specialized training after dental school and are dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teenage years.
